As one of the top importers of crab meat in the United States, we believe responsible seafood sourcing is essential to protecting ocean ecosystems for generations to come.

As a proud founding member of the National Fisheries Institute (NFI) Crab Council, Pacific Cove actively supports industry-led sustainability initiatives designed to protect and strengthen global crab fisheries, including:

  • Supporting hatchery programs that promote crab reproduction
  • Releasing egg-bearing female crabs back into the water


A portion of every dollar from each pound of crab purchased contributes to the NFI Crab Council’s Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs) worldwide, helping improve fishery practices through science-based management and collaboration.
